COVID-19 Safety
Please follow all the current guidance on social distancing and general COVID safety (www.gov.uk/coronavirus). You should not attend if you have had a positive COVID test or any of the recognised symptoms of COVID, or have been in contact with anyone who

has, or have been contacted by the NHS app or Track and Trace and told to self- isolate.

Pre event
We are encouraging all runners and attendees to complete a lateral flow Covid-19 test prior to travelling to the event.  This will not be enforced but recommended, for the wellbeing of everyone attending.  We recommend ordering the free test kits in advance of the event day. If you are travelling from an area where the prevalence of the virus is increasing, please consider carefully whether you should attend.

Arriving at Ripley Castle Show Field
There will be posters with the event Track & Trace QR code on, we would be grateful if you could scan in your car on the way into the show field car park. It is £5 to park, please bring the correct change to throw into the pay buckets provided at the entrance to the site.

The event village area & registration tent
Our maximum attendee number has been reduced as well as our event village area being made larger to ensure social distancing is adhered to. Only runners are permitted inside the registration tent, with a one way system throughout the registration tent. Spectators are not permitted in the registration tent.

Junior Yorkshire Warrior
Please come into the registration tent at 12pm. The first wave of Junior Warriors will set off at 1pm. Adults have the option to run with their child if they would like to but they must not complete the obstacles.

Face coverings
Face coverings are mandatory in the registration tent and we recommend wearing  if

you’re queuing for food or for the use of facilities.  Please be aware of any Coivd-safety

requirements from individual stall holders and vendors. There will be bins located by the warm up area for you to dispose of masks prior to the start.

Getting your numbered headband
Your numbered race headband & timing chip will be in an envelope ready to collect when you arrive. Please ensure you know what your race number is - this can be found on the Yorkshire Warrior website and is so important to reduce contact. Once you have collected your items, please leave the registration tent immediately and wait for your socially distanced warm up. Only come to the registration tent 30 minutes before your wave time.

Staggered wave start times
We have reduced the size of each wave, so that a smaller number are in the warm up pen and on the course. You will be invited into the warm-up area in your specific wave.  Please make sure to follow the advice and guidance of the warm-up crew.
Bag Drop
There is no secure bag drop, please leave all valuable items in your vehicles in the car park.

Sanitisation
At key areas around the event village and on course, there will be sanitisation stations. The toilets will be cleaned and sanitised regularly throughout the day.

All areas of the venue will be operating under social distancing of 2m with other risk mitigations in place. All our staff will have completed a Covid-19 test in the morning of the event,.  Please make sure you follow the distancing rules and adhere to their advice at all times.

Spectators
We are delighted to welcome spectators to our events and the current Government advice allows us to do so. Please obey the social distancing rules when on site and only go to designated areas.

Water
Water will be available at the Finish Line and at the half way point round the course. If the weather is hot, please consider carrying additional water.
